Interior Office citizenship and immigration privacy information

The Interior Office is responsible for the information submitted through its United Hampshire citizenship and immigration application and correspondence services. This information is handled for Interior Office functions within the United Hampshire jurisdiction, not for England services administered by Hampshire County Government.

Information collected

Depending on the service, we may record your United Hampshire name, contact details, existing official references, Roblox and Discord identifiers where relevant, citizenship or immigration claims, evidence you submit, accessibility needs, correspondence, verification results, casework actions, decisions, reviews and the records needed to audit the process. The service also records technical information necessary for security, fraud prevention and continuity.

How the information is used

We use the information to receive and acknowledge your application, verify identity and existing records, assess the relevant request, communicate securely, administer any lawful decision or review, maintain authoritative records and address complaints or security incidents. Sending a form or message does not itself grant citizenship, permission or another legal status.

Access, correspondence and security

Only officials with the relevant casework permissions may process records. Technical system administrators do not acquire statutory decision authority. The secure inbox links an individual account to a specific case following recorded identity verification. Other applicants cannot read that correspondence. Applicants must not place passwords or private identity documents in an ordinary help enquiry. External email notifications, if later enabled, contain no case information.

Retention and correction

Case records and evidence are retained under the Interior Office Operational Casework Records, Access and Retention Standard (IO-P055) and the applicable casework procedures, including any necessary preservation for review, appeals, security or audit. Retention depends on the type and stage of the record. An application or request for correction does not automatically change an authoritative citizenship or immigration record.

Contact and requests about your information

To ask about your record, correct contact details, request help with a service or raise a privacy concern, use the secure Interior Office help service. If your existing case is already linked to your verified account, use your private case inbox. Please quote your application or enquiry reference where available, but do not disclose passwords or unrequested sensitive documents.
